In a ceremony marked by humor while also being touched by the entertainment industry’s recent focus on diversity issues, the Casting Society of America honored achievements in casting for television, film and other media at the 31st annual Artios Awards.
Ceremonies were held Jan. 21 in New York and Los Angeles, with “Transparent,” “Empire,” “Game of Thrones” and “Olive Kitteridge” among the top honorees in the TV categories.
