Pine Bros. markets Softish Throat Drops, with the “forgiving” nature of the product framed as part of its appeal. They’ve been endorsed recently by rapper Waka Flocka.

In a statement, McDowell said: “We all make mistakes, but they’re rarely given front-page scrutiny. He’s a great guy who has done incredible work with charities. I’m confident that Pine Bros. fans will support our decision to give Ryan a second chance.”

Pine Bros. has a history with “second chance” celebrities, including Martha Stewart, who cut this low-key plug a while back …
