In the latest incident of a ragged first week for NBC’s new high-profile morning show “Megyn Kelly Today,” EW.com reports about an unfortunate mishap on Thursday morning’s show.

“On Thursday, while Kelly was interviewing soccer star Carli Lloyd, an unidentified cameraman for the morning show created a technical mishap. He accidentally stepped into the frame, and then momentarily blocked the view of the featured guest,” EW reports. “Once it was clear he was in the way, the cameraman very audibly muttered to himself, ‘Sh–.’”

The show has produced controversies and awkward moments almost daily since its debut Monday.

“On the premiere episode, the host welcomed the cast of NBC’s ‘Will & Grace’ in advance of the revival’s anticipated Thursday premiere,” EW notes. “However, the attempted piece of NBC synergy went awry when Kelly made some clunky comments to a gay fan of the show — remarks which ‘dismayed’ ‘Will & Grace’ star Debra Messing to the extent where the actress publicly said she regretted appearing.”

Then there was that highly publicized incident on Wednesday’s show in which Jane Fonda glared at Kelly and changed the subject when Kelly asked about Fonda’s plastic surgery.

  1. Dealing with pampered Hollywood stars is different from dealing with politicians who are used to getting tough and unexpected questions. Kelly needs to learn how to play the game or the stars won’t come on her show.
