Jimmy Kimmel, who has been hosting ABC’s late-night show “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” since 2003, just picked up a side gig at the network. Variety reports that Kimmel has joined the ABC comedy pilot “Man of the House.”

“Kimmel will provide the voiceover/narration of the grown-up version of Jake Short’s character Bradley,” Variety reports. “Kimmel’s voiceover provides the point of view of Bradley looking back fondly at the women who made him the man he is today.”

In addition to Short, previously announced cast members on the project include Alyson Hannigan, Leslie Bibb, Jenna Ortega and Reece Caddell.

“The multicamera hybrid series, inspired by the life of co-creator Frank Pines, will follow two recently divorced sisters who decide to move in together to raise their kids under one roof,” Variety notes.

Kimmel is quoted saying: “I’ve often thought of myself as an ‘Older Bradley’ so that works out well.”

  1. Guess Hanity was lying when he said he talked to ABC and they didn’t even want him to work there. Go figure. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

  2. “Kimmel’s voiceover provides the point of view of Bradley looking back fondly at the women who made him the man he is today.”

I wonder if that would be the ones jumping on trampolines from “The Man Show.”
