Following up on earlier media coverage indicating a disappointing viewer turnout for Sunday’s Super Bowl, CBS offered its own spin this afternoon — a much more upbeat assessment starting with the news that the game delivered a total audience of 100.7 million viewers across all platforms, including CBS Television Network, CBS Interactive, NFL digital properties, Verizon Media mobile properties and ESPN Deportes television and digital properties.

CBS also said Super Bowl LIII was watched in its entirety or in part on the network by 149.0 million viewers, while it set Super Bowl digital viewership records, averaging 2.6 million viewers per minute.

Additionally, the network noted that its All Access set records for subscriber sign-ups, viewers and time spent.
