New Music Competition Program to Premiere Next Month on Nine Channels

A new music competition show is coming to television, with a splashy nine-channel simulcast set for Nov. 1 for Nickelodeon’s “America’s Most Musical Family.” The premiere will be televised across BET, MTV, MTV2, Nicktoons, Paramount Network, TeenNick, TV Land and VH1, along with Nickelodeon.

New episodes will run on Friday nights on Nickelodeon.

The show, which aims to single out America’s most musical family, will feature 30 family bands competing in front of celebrity judges Ciara, David Dobrik and Debbie Gibson, along with host Nick Lachey, for a recording contract with Republic Records and a $250,000 cash prize.
